    DIY Dollar Tree Easter Centerpiece

    January 7, 2023 by Melinda

This cheap and easy diy Easter centerpiece uses Dollar Tree finds to create cute and budget friendly Easter decor for just $6.

The birds are chirping, the days are getting longer, and we just lost an hour of sleep which means one thing…Spring is here!!!

Well, maybe not officially, but it’s close enough that I’m going to start embracing the season.

After Valentine’s Day, I switch out the reds and pinks for the pretty pastels of Easter.

Three years ago I made this cute Easter centerpiece using Dollar Tree finds after I saw a similar one while scrolling Pinterest.

I recently went back to Dollar Tree to make sure the items were still available and I’m happy to say you will be able to get similar items to recreate this piece.

They had spring flowers galore, many different size vases, lots of peeps, pastel candies, and cute little Easter decor items that can be used as a topper.

How to make an easy and cheap diy Easter Centerpiece using Dollar Tree finds

The vase I used is 4 inches x 4 inches x 4 inches but use whatever size you want. I suggest using one that’s on the shorter side, under 6 inches. I placed 1 cup of pastel candies in the bottom of the jar, but again, use however much you need to cover the bottom and still have enough room for the peeps.

Then take your peeps and arrange them all the way around the edges. When I went on my most recent Dollar Tree run they had plenty of Chicks Peeps (but sadly no bunnies). Good thing the chicks are stinking cute and would be adorable in this arrangement!

Next, take your flowers and cut the stem to fit your vase. Arrange them strategically to fill the top. If you find the right size flowers, you will only have to use 1-2 bunches, depending on how full you want the arrangement to be. This was how the original centerpiece looked for the first couple years but then last year I decided to take it up a notch with the next addition…

…a cute little Easter bunny peeking out from the flowers. It took it from cute to SUPER CUTE.

This centerpiece has held up surprising well over the years. This is the 3rd year and it looks just as good as the first.

Now run to the nearest Dollar Tree and grab up this stuff before it disappears!
